3 Transport and storage
3.1 Checking the delivery contents
After unpacking, check the product immediately for damage
sustained during transport and for completeness; inform the
manufacturer of any damage as soon as possible.
3.2 Assembly
Please follow the assembly instructions on our website for the
assembly of the shelves or desktop Flex Active Frames. A
corresponding QR code and link can be found on the back of
the cover page.
Steelcase recommends having the authorised retailer

or an assembly company assemble the unit.
Assembly of the Frame Active Frames always starts with a
base unit followed by extension units.
The accessories are mounted in this sequence:
1. Small worksurface, 2. Coat rod, 3. Planter, 4. Curtain rod
and curtain, 5. Fixed board, 6. Panel and centre panel, 7. Flap
door, 8. Media Tower components, 9. Seat cushion, 10. Mobile
board clips and cable holders, 11. Bookend and toolbox
