LINE INPUT - The rear-panel Line Input allows connection of other audio
sources (e.g., CD, MP3, or a second preamp) for practice or layered
amplification.
EFFECTS SEND / RETURN - A 0dB serial effects loop is provided. The
EFFECTS SEND can also act as a Line Out. The loop is only broken when a
plug is inserted into the EFFECTS RETURN.
The Effects Send is placed after the EQ, Valve Drive, Compression, and
Sub Harmonics sections.
4-WAY FOOTSWITCH SOCKET - This mono jack socket is for the
dedicated 4-way footswitch (sold separately). To enable footswitch
control, relevant front panel buttons must be in the OUT position.
Connect the footswitch before powering on. It draws power from the
amp and sends a serial data stream to control its functions. Each feature is
indicated by an LED on the footswitch when active.
SPEAKER OUTPUT - Located on the rear panel. The SO-1200 features
two power sections, each rated at 600 Watts RMS, with two Neutrik combi
Speakon/jack outputs per power section, labeled A & B.
Use Speakon or jack speaker cables to connect to your cabinets. Each
power section supports a minimum load of 4 ohms.
