expression, making all notes similar in volume. It also extends
sustain.
The COMPRESSION LEVEL control adjusts the compression intensity.
Important: The INPUT level must be properly set for compression to
function correctly.
With correct input settings, switching compression IN or OUT
won't dramatically alter the output volume, due to automatic gain
compensation. However, high compression may raise background noise
levels.
COMPRESSION IN/OUT – This push button switches compression IN
or OUT. It may also be toggled via the 4-way footswitch (button must be
OUT).
SUB HARMONICS - Generates an octave-down signal from the original
bass notes. Use the LEVEL control to adjust how much of this is blended
into the output.
This effect thickens the tone — only a subtle amount is often needed.
Note: The effect is influenced by the setting of the BASS control.
DIRECT INJECT (D.I.) - A balanced DI output is provided on a locking
XLR socket, with a nearby button to select Pre-EQ (button IN) or Post-EQ,
Post-Sub, and Effects (button OUT) signal routing.

The DI output is designed to connect to a balanced microphone input
on a mixing desk for live PA or recording. It should not be used with non-
microphone inputs.
The DI has a floating ground referenced to the mixing console, unaffected
by phantom power.
Ensure your XLR plug does not have its shell internally connected to
signal ground, which could cause unwanted ground loops.
PUSH TO MUTE - Engaging this button mutes the preamp's output to the
power amp, the DI output, and the LINE OUT. The TUNER OUT remains
active for silent tuning.
A blue LED next to the button indicates mute status. This function is only
controlled from the front panel.
TUNER OUT - Provides a continuous line-level signal for permanent tuner
connection. This output remains active when all other outputs are muted,
allowing for silent tuning.
LINE OUT -This output provides a post-output level, line-level signal for
use with external power amplifiers and additional cabinets.
OUTPUT LEVEL - Controls the overall volume of the amplifier. Adjust to
achieve your preferred stage level.
