3. Intended use

Adjust and regulate the temperature of your living space according to your needs with this room
thermostat. It is operated via a control panel. Set up programs depending on the time or daytime.
Also integrated is a holiday mode which controls the temperature during your absence. It is possible
to control heating or cooling systems directly.
The room thermostat is mounted on a wall. The load connected is turned on or off (for max. con-
nectable load, see "Technical Data") depending on the temperature. Temperature is measured by
an external sensor.
It is powered by two AA batteries.
The product is designed for indoor use only. Do not use in wet rooms or under unfavourable ambient
conditions. Unfavourable ambient conditions include:
- Wet conditions or high air humidity
- Dust and flammable gases, vapours or solvents
- Thunderstorms or similar conditions such as strong electrostatic fields
Use other than that described above can lead to damage to the product and may involve additional
risks such as, for example, short circuits, fire, electrical shocks etc. No part of the product may be
modified or reconfigured! Read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for later refer-
ence. If you pass the product on to a third party, please hand over these operating instructions as
well.
