5 Adjustments
5.1 Adjustment of the gripping range
Before the product can be lifted and transported, the gripping range has to be adjusted to the
dimensions of the product.
Caution while adjusting of the gripping range. There is danger of injuring the
hands! Use safety gloves. →
The adjustment of the gripping range has to be
symmetrically, so that the gripping good hangs
horizontally when it is lifted. That means, in both
rectangular tubes (B) the same adjustable hole must be
used.
•
The adjustment of the gripping range may never take place on both
sides at the same time. Always adjust the gripping range first on the
one side and then on the other.
•
Pull the spring bolt (A) upwards, rotate around 180° and lock in the
notch.
•
Move the rectangular tube (B), until the gripping range is ~5 cm (2")
larger than the gripping good.
•
Pull the spring bolt (A) upwards again and rotate around 180°.
•
Push the rectangular tube (B) back and forth, until the spring bolt (A)
engages in one of the holes.
•
When gripping L-stones, the gripping area must be adjusted
asymmetrically. This moves the center of gravity of the L-stone
and the stone hangs horizontally when lifted.
An asymmetry of up to two adjustment holes is allowed.
