AC VOLTAGE
SELECTOR
Check the setting of the AC voltage selector located at the rear of the unit
before plugging the stereo system
into an AC outlet. If necessary, adjust
the selector to correspond to the AC power voltage
used in your area.
To adjust, turn the selector with a screwdriver until the appropriate voltage
number appears in the window.

OPENING THE PLAYER
DOOR
There
is one disc holder for EP (17cm) records and another holder for
LP (30cm) records, Only one record at a time may
be placed on either
of the disc holders.

NOTES:
@lf two records are accidentally put onto the disc holder at the same
time, damage to both the cartridge (stylus tip} and record wiil result.
@25cm
records or very thin records are not usable with this stereo
system.
e{f a non-standard sized record is played on this stereo system, the
stylus
may
miss the beginning
of the playing surface.
The stylus
may also not ascend from the record surface at the end of the last
selection,
® The stereo system may not operate normally if a warped or severely
dished record is played.
Sometimes
difficulty may
be experienced when
placing certain kinds of
records onto the centre spindle,
® Warped or deformed records,
@ Records with obstructions in their centre holes.
® Records with the centre holes partially covered by the song-title Jabel.
@ Records with centre holes are too small (non-standard records).
Use of such records should be avoided since their use may result in damage
to the record or stylus tip when
opening or closing the player door, or
during playback.

Depress the POWER switch to the "ON" position.

and
the
player
door wil! open
automatically after about 1.5 second,
® Depending on how level the surface on which the stereo system is placed
is, the door may
open
too quickly, or only halfway. Place the stereo
system on a level surface,

© To close the player door, slowly press the upper middie
part of the
door until you hear it click into place.

EVENT

A POWER
FAILURE
if there
is a power
failure during
record
play,
the
door
will
not
open
when
the
DOOR OPEN ¥ button is pressed.
In this case, press the manual DOOR OPEN
button
on
the top
of the
unit
and
the
door will open.

Transparent
records,
either
clear
or with
coloured
designs, or records
that appear black but allow infrared rays to pass through them will not
play normally. To play these kinds of records, open the player door and
set the record size selector to the correct size.

NOTE:
Please do not use your stereo system with the record size selector set.
