A T-shaped aerial is included with the system, Ta install, cannect this
aerial to the FM aerial socket. Extend the horizontal part of the aerial
horizontally and the vertical part vertically, and then fix both ends of the
aerial in the direction providing optimum reception.

In areas where signals are weak due to long distances or interference from
buildings, etc., it is advised that a special FM aerial (3—8 elements) be
installed. Cannect the aerial to the FM aerial socket with a feeder line
(impedance 3009).

Position of special FM aerial installation
1. Install the aerial in a place where broadcast signals can be picked up
with a minimum of interference. In areas where buildings or the geo-
graphical terrain cause unavoidable interference or in areas where
signals are not directly received, listen to the sound and install the
aerial in the place where the least amount of distortion and noise can
be detected.
2. Avoid installing the aerial near roads or places where automobile noise
would cause interference.
NOTE:
Do not use a TV aerial instead of the special FM aerial, or interference
will occur in TV reception,
