• Before inserting the batteries, check that the con-
tacts in the device and on the batteries are clean
and, if necessary, clean them.
• Pay attention to the polarity (+/–) when inserting
the battery.
• Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Strong, direct
heat can damage the battery. Therefore, keep the
product away from strong heat sources.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous mem-
branes. If these areas come into contact with bat-
tery acid, rinse them immediately with plenty of
clean water and contact a doctor immediately.
• Never throw batteries into a fire, short-circuit them
or dismantle them.
• Never expose the batteries to excessive heat, such
as sunlight, fire or similar sources of heat!
• Only replace batteries in dry conditions!
• Remove worn out batteries from the device imme-
diately. Clean the contacts before inserting a new
