SILICON E SEAL
• Inside the brew head there is a silicone seal to create a seal on the filter when brewing
coffee.
• This seal may lose its elasticity over time and may need to be replaced.
• The seal will need to be replaced if you notice coffee leaking around the brew handle
when drawing coffee or if the brew handle becomes loose when turned fully to the center
position.
MACH I N E CLEANI NG
• To purge and clean the vaporizer, press the steam button and steam for 3-5 seconds and
then stop vaporizing.
• Clean the steam wand with a damp cloth.
Advice: To maintain the performance of the frother arm, clean it every time you froth milk.
• Clean the removable accessories with cold water and neutral soap.
• Check if the drip tray needs to be emptied. Remove the drip tray cover and clean it with
warm water.
• Check that there are no coffee beans stuck in the grinder for better use. Always clean it
with a brush with the machine turned off.
C LEAN I N G AND D E SCALING CYCLE
The descaling indicator will flash to indicate that a cleaning cycle is required.
Prepare the cleaning cycle:
1. Make sure the water tank has at least 2 liters of water.
2. Empty the drip tray and put it in place.
Preparation for descaling:
1. Fill the tank with 2 liters of water. Add a descaling tablet and allow it to dissolve in the
water tank.
2. Add 1.5 tablespoons of white vinegar to the water tank and let the solution mix well.
3. Place a container of at least 1.2 liters under the brew head and another container under
the steam wand.
Descaling:
• Press and hold the descaling button for three seconds to start the descaling cycle. The
device will beep and begin the cleaning cycle.
• The pump will intermittently dispense 500 ml of hot water from the coffee maker head,
500 ml of hot water from the hot water pipe and 500 ml of hot water from the steam wand.
Note: You can exit the cleaning cycle at any time by pressing the descaling button.
• During the cleaning cycle the descaling cleaning light will be on. After completing the
cleaning cycle the device will be ready again.
