Chapter 1: Precautions for safe use
1. Ensure the power voltage of the product matches the power supply outlet.
2. This product is for household use only. Our company shall not be liable for any
damages caused by commercial use, improper use or failure to comply with this
instruction manual. Such malfunctions or damages are not covered by the warranty.
3. Use a grounded socket, ensuring the plug is inserted tightly. Poor contact is a fire risk.
Do not use a universal socket with other electrical appliances at the same time.
4. When unplugging the appliance, grasp the plug and pull – do not pull or twist the
power cord. If there are any damages to the power cord, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer.
5. Whilst the appliance is on, do not leave it unattended. Keep the appliance out of the
reach of children.
6. Do not place the appliance on unstable or damp surfaces to avoid damage or
malfunction.
7. Keep the appliance away from open flames and other heat sources to avoid damage.
8. Never clean this appliance with water. Use a damp cloth to wipe this appliance clean.
Before cleaning, allow the appliance to cool down to room temperature.
9. When the appliance is not in use, keep the appliance unplugged. Before cleaning,
during maintenance and if there is a malfunction, the appliance must be unplugged.
10. If a small fire occurs around the appliance, do not use water to extinguish the fire.
Instead, use a fire extinguisher or a wet towel to cover the affected area.
11. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
12. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
13. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
14. This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
– staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
– farm houses;
– by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
– bed and breakfast type environments.
15. The appliance must not be immersed.
16. WARNING : Avoid spillage on the connector.
17. WARNING : Potential injury may be caused from misuse.
18. The heating element surface is subject to residual heat after use.
19. Regarding the instructions for details on how to clean the surfaces in contact with
food, thanks to refer to the section "Cleaning and Maintenance".
Never use the appliance if:
● The power cord shows any signs of damage.
● The appliance is not operating properly or has been damaged in any way.
If any of the above situations occur, contact our after-sales department. Damaged pieces
must be replaced with original accessories, which are suitable for this appliance.
