Adjusting the headrest

• Release the belt and pull the lever to adjust
the headrest on the back of the child car seat.
Move the headrest until it engages at the cor-
rect height.
• Make sure the shoulder straps are positioned
just above your child's shoulders when they
come out of the child car seat.
• Release the lever and ensure that the headrest
is engaged.
Side impact protector
• The side impact protector is inserted from the
front to the rear of the child car seat on the
side located on the car door.
• If the child car seat is located in the centre
seat on the rear bench, e.g. because three
child car seats are to be installed next to each
other, the separate side impact protector can
be dispensed with.
• To remove the side impact protector again, lift
the release lever on the rear side of the pro-
tector and pull the protector forwards again.
