for performing endoscopic procedures. Accordingly, the cart
is characterized with a small footprint, height adjustability
and integrated design. Besides the video processor, the cart
is compatible with the following devices and accessories:
endoscopes, EndoSheath
keyboard, and foot pedal.
SECTION 1: BEFORE USE
All devices connected to the power strip must be Classified
Medical Equipment such as the PrimeSight UNITY 9000
Video Processor. If additional equipment is connected to the
processor, the operator must determine that all equipment
complies with the appropriate end-product safety standard (such
as IEC 60950 or IEC 60065) and the Standards for medical
Electrical Equipment, ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1 or IEC 60601-1.
SECTION 2: SAFETY
GENERAL
Personnel working with the cart and its components should read
the entire User Manual prior to operating. Any modifications to
this cart, or use of the cart for anything other than its intended
purpose, will render its warranty null and void and may result in
damage to the cart and associated products, or injury to the user
and/or bystanders.
OPERATION
• When transporting the cart within the facility, care should be
taken to avoid obstructions and personnel.
• All drawers should be in the closed position prior to any
transport or repositioning to avoid damage or injury.
• All cords should be unplugged and moved so they do not
interfere with the casters prior to movement of the cart within
the facility.
• Lower the table top to the lowest position before moving the
cart.
• Do not raise the column until all four casters are locked.
• Before moving the cart, the IV pole must be lowered and the

SECTION 4: WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS
TILT STABILITY
Care has been taken in the design and manufacture of this cart
to ensure maximum safety and stability when handled properly.
The cart has been tested under maximum load conditions to
ensure it will not tip when used on an inclined surface (at an
angle of 10 degrees). The maximum load for each portion of
the cart is specified on the labels located on: the front right side
of table top, rear right side of shelf and front right side of inside
drawer (Refer to Section 6). The operator should have the cart
in their control at all times during transport, and the cart should
never be pushed or pulled without complete control. Failing to
do so may result in injury or damage to the cart and equipment.
Additional care should be taken when transporting over
thresholds, cords, or any other obstructions.
CAUTION: Lower the table top to its lowest position before
moving the cart.
