DESCRIPTION
The DIN NANO 5CK is an electronic regulator DIN rail designed to
control refrigerated counters, display windows and static or
ventilated refrigeration units with off-cycle, electrical or hot gas
defrosting also in real time clock (RTC). It is fitted with three
analogue inputs for NTC temperature probes, three digital
configurable inputs, five relays for the control of the compressor,
fans, defrosting evaporator 1 and 2, room light, cold function for
pump down operation, motor condenser unit control or alarm
(two configurable relays NC or NO). The regulator can be also
configured for heat applications. Available with remote or on-
board display. Also available eco display, temperature repeater.
Internal buzzer for acoustic signals.
PRINCIPAL CHARACTERISTICS
• Configurable for cold applications or for hot applications.
• Relays for managing the compressor, evaporator fans and cell light (3
non-configurable relays), defrost heater relays 1 and 2, alarm, pump
down start, cell light, compressor output and night output (2
configurable relays).
• Activation of defrosts in real time, up to 6 starts in 24 hours with
sequential or simultaneous defrosts.
• 3 digital inputs configurable for night mode activation, pump-down
pressure switch, defrost start and stop, remote stand-by, man in cell
alarm and compressor protection contact.
• Configurable defrost with pause, with resistances, with thermostated
resistance, with cycle inversion and with cycle inversion with tray,
settable for frequency and duration. The end of defrost can take place
by time or by temperature.
• START/STOP manual defrost by button.
• ON/OFF system by button.
• Day/night management (energy saving).
• ON/OFF cold room light with button or via micro-door.
• A display with TTL connection is available as an option, as a
temperature repeater, suitable for long distances (max 500 m).
• Temperature display/regulation with decimal point
• Flat front surface for easy cleaning and large keys customizable in
various colors (on request).
• 3-digit LED display, with sign, decimal point, system status icons.
Internal buzzer for sound signals.
• PEGO programming philosophy that guarantees immediate start-up.
• RS485 serial connection with Modbus-RTU or Telenet protocol.
• Power supply voltage 230Vac.
• HACCP function for storing and displaying the last temperature alarm.

KEY FUNCTIONS
Key
UP KEY
Increases values / Scrolls parameters in ascending
order / Deactivates acoustic alarm if present /
Acknowledges an alarm. If pressed for over 3
seconds, activates/deactivates room light. With
manual activation / deactivation of the light a BIP is
generated to confirm.
DOWN KEY
Decreases values / Scrolls parameters in descending
order / If pressed for over 3 seconds activates manual
defrosting (if suitable conditions are present).
Terminates defrosting if pressed for over 3 seconds
during the defrosting process. With manual activation
/ deactivation of defrosting a BIP is generated to
confirm.
STAND-BY KEY
If pressed for over 1 second alternates the Stand-By
Stand
with normal mode and vice versa. When mode is
alternated a BIP is generated to confirm. In Stand-By
by
mode the system stops and the display signals OFF
and the temperature alternating.
SET KEY
Displays the set point.
Allows the set point to be entered when pressed in
combination with the DOWN or UP keys. Resets the
acoustic alarm if present.

COMBINED ACTIVATION OF KEYS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS
FUNCTION / KEY COMBINATION
SETTINGS PROGRAMMING / (Set + o ).
Press the SET key to view the current SETPOINT value
(temperature).
Keeping the SET key down and pressing either the () or ()
key, the SETPOINT value can be changed.
Release the SET key to return to view the room temperature;
the changes made will be automatically saved.
LEVEL 1 PROGRAMMING / ( + ).
Press the UP and DOWN keys simultaneously for over 3
seconds to access the Level 1 programming menu. When the
menu is accessed, a BIP is generated to confirm. The system
leaves the menu after 30 seconds.
LEVEL 2 PROGRAMMING / (++Stand-by).
Press the UP, DOWN and STAND-BY keys simultaneously for
over 3 seconds to access the Level 1 programming menu.
When the menu is accessed, a BIP is generated to confirm and
the system is placed in Stand-By mode.
HACCP MENU FOR VISUALIZATION OF THE LAST
TEMPERATURE ALARM RECORDING / (+ Stand-by).
Push UP and STAND-BY keys simultaneously for over 3 seconds
To access the HACCP menu.
A BIP is generated to confirm.
EXIT PROGRAMMING MENUS / ( + ).
Pressing the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously in any
programming menu for over 3 seconds causes the system to
save the settings entered and leave that menu. A BIP is
generated to confirm.
