imperative to check that the cartridges are not pierced and that they are full (unscrew the cartridges and check that they are not pierced).
• It is advisable to practice pulling on the activation handle (having first removed the cartridges), in order to gauge the strength required for activa-
tion. If you hear a click, deployment has succeeded. After each test, you must reload the inflator using the tool.

6.2 IF AN AVALANCHE OCCURS

• If an avalanche occurs, immediately activate the airbag. Do not hesitate to pull hard on the handle (approx. 8-12kg traction force required). The
airbag inflates in about three seconds, whether you are skiing or failing, or even if you are buried in moving snow.
• Try to escape out of the side of the avalanche, watching out for falling boulders or stones, in order to reach a secure area.
• Discard your poles, and try to remove your skis or snowboard.
• Place your hands over your mouth to protect your airway.
• If you are buried, form an air pocket in front of your face.
• Once the avaianche has stopped: if you can extricate yourself, do not remove your airbag system immediately.
• Help any other people, then remove your airbag system only if the risk of a second avalanche has been ruled out
6.3 RELOADING THE ALPRIDE 3.0 AIRBAG System
Follow the instructions below to reload the system correctly:
Open the back pack.

If necessary, separate the slider from the zipper by pulling
the slider down and the other half of the zipper to the side.
Open the inflator
compartment zip.
4.2
Press the non-return valve with
the Reload tool to deflate the
airbag. The Reload tool can be
locked by turning it ¼ turn.
Bring the slider to
the beginning of the zipper.
