Know the contents of the chemical being sprayed.
Read all Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and container
labels provided with the chemical. Follow the
chemical manufacturer's safety instructions.
Electric shock hazard. Never spray toward electrical
outlets.
Do not pour hot or boiling liquids into the tank.
These can weaken or damage the tubes or tank.
Avoid spraying on windy days. Spray can be
accidentally blown onto plants or objects that should
not be sprayed.
Store the sprayer in a secure, well-ventilated
indoor space with the fluid tank empty.
Do not spray bleach or hydrogen peroxide.
Do not spray alcohol-based chemicals.
Do not spray powders or abrasive chemicals.
Do not spray caustic (alkali) or self-heating liquids.
Do not use environmentally hazardous chemicals
that are not allowed as defined by local
regulations.
Do not point the sprayer nozzle in the direction of
people or pets.
Never allow children, persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge or people unfamiliar
with these instructions to use the machine.
The operator or user is responsible for accidents or
hazards occurring to other people or their property.
The sprayer shall be used only with plant
protection products approved by local/national
regulatory authorities for plant protection products
for use with knapsack sprayers.
Risk of injection. Do not discharge directly against
skin. Keep all body parts out of the spray pattern.
Do not leave residue or spray material in the tank
after using the sprayer. Clean after each use.
To reduce the risk of fire or explosion use a liquid
with a flash point higher than 60°C.

store the sprayer where it can fall or be pulled into
a tub or sink.

Maintain this product. Thoroughly inspect both the
inside and outside of the sprayer and examine the
components before each use. Check for cracked
and deteriorated tank, leaks, clogged nozzles, and
missing or damaged parts. If damaged, have the
product repaired before use. Many accidents are
caused by poorly maintained products.
Turn the power switch to the off position when
the sprayer is not in use and before servicing or
cleaning.
Disconnect the battery from the unit before
draining, cleaning, or storing the sprayer. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
accidental starting.
Always wear eye protection with side shields or
goggles. Failure to do so could result in fluids entering
your eyes resulting in possible serious injury.
Protect your lungs. Wear approved safety
equipment such as face masks that are specially
designed to filter out sprays, gloves, and other
appropriate protective equipment. Following this rule
will reduce the risk of serious personal injury. Follow
the chemical manufacturer's safety instructions and
guidelines listed on the SDS sheet.
Chemicals and chemical fumes can be hazardous
and cause serious injury, permanent damage or
death if ingested, inhaled or splashed in eyes or

To reduce the risk of injury, close supervision is
necessary when the sprayer is used near children.
Do not contact moving parts.
Only use attachments recommended or sold by the
manufacturer.

pack, picking up, or carrying the appliance.

or energizing appliances that have the switch on
invites accidents.
