WARNING:
Always be aware for the location of your
feet, children, or pets when pressing the battery-release
button. Serious injury could result in if the battery pack
falls. NEVER remove the battery pack at a high location.
WARNING:
Make sure that the latch on the sprayer
snaps in place, the battery pack is secured to the sprayer,
and the battery compartment cover is fully closed before
beginning the operation. Failure to securely seat the battery
pack could cause the battery pack to fall out, resulting in
serious personal injury.
WARNING:
To avoid serious personal injury, always
remove the battery pack and keep hands clear of the
control handle when lifting or transporting the sprayer.
POSITIONING THE BACKPACK SPRAYER
WARNING:
Dress properly to reduce the risk of injury
when operating this appliance. Do not wear loose clothing
or jewelry. Wear eye protection. Wear heavy, long pants,
boots and gloves. Do not wear short pants, sandals or go
barefoot.
Before using the backpack sprayer, make sure that the
operator is wearing eye protection and proper clothing and
can maintain a secure and balanced footing.
To Adjust the Support Harness
1. Put your arms through the backpack straps to support
the sprayer on your back.
2. Temporarily adjust both shoulder straps to comfortable
positions (Fig. E1), making sure that your elbow is
comfortable.
3. Snap the chest buckle and adjust the chest strap
length if necessary (Fig. E2).
4. Snap the waist buckle and adjust the waist strap
length so that the backpack is securely supported by
your hips (Fig. E3 & E4).
NOTE:
The backpack shouldn't sit too high on your back;
it should be positioned closer to your hips than to your
shoulders.
WARNING:
When emergency occurs, release the
chest and waist buckles immediately to take off the
backpack strap at each side. This is a quick release
method.
5. Readjust the shoulder straps for security and comfort.
Make sure that the backpack sits securely on your
back, with the weight supported by the waist strap,
and without excess movement when you move
(Fig. E5).

6. Insert any extra length of the strap around the waist
into the elastic on both sides (Fig. E6).
7. To remove the backpack from your back, just press the
waist and chest buckles to release them and lower the
sprayer (Fig. E7).
STARTING/STOPPING THE SPRAYER (FIG. F)
Speed Dial
1. To increase the flow rate, turn the speed dial
clockwise.

F-3 ON/OFF Trigger
F-2 Lock-on Lever
2. To decrease the flow rate, turn the speed dial
counterclockwise.
3. The sprayer will stop if you keep turning the dial to the
"OFF" position.
WARNING:
To prevent unintentional starting, turn
the speed dial to the off position (red dot on the dial points
toward the spray wand).
WARNING:
Before storing the machine, leaving it
for a long time, or replacing the battery pack, always turn
the speed dial to the off position (red dot on the dial points
toward the spray wand).
ON/OFF Trigger
1. Depress the ON/OFF trigger to turn on the sprayer.
2. Release the trigger to stop the flow.
Lock-On Lever
The lock-on lever is convenient when spraying for an
extended period of time or when covering a large area.
1. To lock the ON/OFF trigger on, press the lock-on lever
after squeezing the trigger.
2. To release the ON/OFF trigger, pull the lock-on lever.
NOTICE:
Make sure the trigger is not locked on before
inserting the battery pack into the sprayer.
ADJUSTING AND CHANGING THE NOZZLES
WARNING:
To prevent serious personal injury, remove
the battery pack before adjusting or changing nozzles.
The sprayer comes with four nozzles: Adjustable nozzle,
fan nozzle, shower nozzle, and foaming nozzle. Change
the nozzle before you start working to suit the task at
hand.
