WARNING – SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION: No protectors can offer complete protection against injuries. Adults must assist children in selecting the size and fitting
the protectors! To ensure maximum protection, the protectors must fit well, must not slip and must be fitted in accordance with the
operating instructions. When used correctly, Scoot and Ride protectors protect the elbows and knees from minor bumps and impacts.
Even if damages may not be visible, the protectors must be replaced and destroyed after an accident. Modifying or removing original
components of the protectors can be dangerous and impair their protective effect. The riding style must be adapted to your personal
abilities! Some common substances can damage the protectors, even if this is not visible to the user. The use of solvents, decals,
paints, and cleaning agents can damage the protectors and render them ineffective in the event of an accident. These protectors are
intended exclusively for cyclists, skateboarders, and roller skaters. ATTENTION: Not for use on/with motor vehicles.
The Scoot and Ride knee and elbow protectors are NOT designed and intended for motorized sports. They do not provide suf-
•
ficient protection when used in motor sports or with motorized vehicles (e.g., mopeds). They are not suitable for (inline) speed
skating or for use in the half pipe.
The use of protectors does not completely rule out injuries.
•
Check regularly and before every use that the protectors:
•
– correctly installed, fit well, do not slip and completely cover the affected areas of the body.
– be checked for damage. Especially after a fall or hard impact, the protectors must be checked for damage (e.g., cracks, fractures,
etc...).
The knee and elbow protectors should be replaced if there is any kind of change.
