This manual will provide you with important information that will assist you in commissioning the Interchange Power Control unit. Please read these Instructions for use
carefully and store them safely.
Energy connection for solar-powered pond and ventilation pumps
*Interchange Power Control is a device that switches our solar pond and ventilation pumps to normal power consumption when the sun provides little or no energy. This ensures
that the pump can run for 24 hours.

Safety information
• Never open the device housing or its related parts unless explicitly stated in the user manual.
• The pump used must not be operated without water, as this can lead to irreparable damage.
• The device is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
supervised by a person responsible for their safety or given instructions on the use of the device. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
• Keep children away from small parts and packaging materials. Risk of suffocation!
Intended use
This product is intended exclusively for private use in small garden ponds. Direct sunlight is required to operate the pump. The pond ventilation or the fountain function can begin as
soon as the pump and solar module are connected (provided there is sunlight). The pumps do not have an on/off switch. In order to stop the function,
the cable connection between the solar module and the pump must be disconnected.
Deposits of dust, dirt and foliage can collect on the solar module. These can be removed with a microfibre cloth and glass cleaner.
Installation and commissioning
1. Roll out the connection cable to the pump and transformer completely
2. Connect the cable between the changeover switch and the solar panel
3. Connect the cable between the pump and the changeover switch
4. Connect cable between the changeover switch and transformer
5. Now put the pump in the pond, and the ventilation pumps next to the pond
6. Place the solar module in a sunny, shade-free place

Warranty
We provide a warranty on this product of 2 years from the date of purchase against defective materials and workmanship. To make a claim against the warranty, the original receipt
must be submitted as proof of purchase. The warranty does not cover all complaints caused by assembly and operating errors, lack of care, the effects of frost, improper repair attempts,
use of force, third-party fault, overloading, mechanical damage or the effects of foreign bodies. Also excluded from the warranty are all complaints about damage to parts and/or
problems caused by wear and tear.
Disposal of packaging
Dispose of the packaging according to type. Put cardboard and card into waste paper, and foil and bags in the recyclables collection
Separate collection and disposal of used appliances
Electrical and electronic equipment that has become waste is referred to as waste equipment. Owners of waste equipment must dispose of it separately from unsorted
municipal waste. Waste equipment in particular does not belong in household waste, but in special collection and return systems. Options for returning waste equip-
ment: Owners of waste equipment from private households can return it to the collection points of the public waste management authorities or to the collection points
set up by manufacturers or distributors within the meaning of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act, e.g. a collection point in your municipality/district that takes
care of professional recycling, or directly to the manufacturer. Disposal is free of charge for you.

There are two power inputs: solar power from the solar panel,
another is power from an AC-DC adapter.
If the solar power is strong enough to run the pump, the pump
is operated via the solar panel. The display "SOLAR" is on and the
display "ADAPTOR" is off.
If the solar power is not strong enough to run the pump, the
AC-DC adapter compensates for the lack of power and keeps the
pump running normally. The display "SOLAR" is on and the display
"ADAPTOR" is also on.
If solar power is not available, the pump is powered by the AC-DC
adapter. The display "SOLAR" is off and the display "ADAPTOR" is on.
