d) Cameras
• The cameras are suitable for indoor and outdoor use (IP65). However, they must never be used in or
under water, as this will destroy them.
• The cameras must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, intense vibration or severe mechanical
stress.
• The connection plugs for the power connection are not protected from moisture/dampness. They must
therefore be placed in a dry place (for example, in a suitable connection box or similar).
• Make sure that the connection cable is not pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
• Operation of the cameras should not replace personal supervision of children or people with special
needs, it serves to support this supervision.
• Mount the cameras so that they are not pointed directly at bright light sources such as the sun or head-
lights. This not only leads to a distorted and unusable image, but can also cause damage to the image
sensors in case of continuous exposure.
e) IR remote control
• The IR remote control must not get damp or wet.
• The IR remote control must be powered by a CR2025 battery.
f) Battery safety information
• Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries lying around, as they constitute a choking hazard for children and pets. Seek im-
mediate medical attention if a battery is swallowed.
• When handling leaking or damaged batteries, always use suitable protective gloves to avoid burning
your skin.
• Liquids leaking from batteries are very chemically aggressive. Objects or surfaces coming into contact
with these liquids could be severely damaged. Therefore, store batteries in a suitable location.
• Make sure that the batteries are never short-circuited, taken apart or thrown into fire. This may cause
an explosion!
• Do not attempt to recharge disposable, non-rechargeable batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
• Pay attention to the correct polarity when inserting the battery into the IR remote control (observe plus/+
and minus/-).
• If the device is not used for a long time (for example, when in storage), remove the battery from the IR
remote control. If the battery is too old, there is a risk that it will leak, causing damage to the IR remote
control or loss of warranty/guarantee!
• For the correct disposal of batteries, please read the chapter "Disposal".
