Bluetooth interface
Activation
The eCLIQ Connect key has a switch (position sensor or push-button)
®
which can be used to switch on the wireless interface as needed.
This offers the following advantages:
∙ As a wireless key, the Bluetooth key is usually not visible for the environ-
ment and
∙ Energy consumption is significantly reduced.
The wireless interface of the key is activated via a push-button.

Note!
Securely switch off the wireless key: The Bluetooth key must be
switched off in areas where Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are not permitted.

Remove the battery to switch off the Bluetooth key ("Battery replace-
ment", page 27).
