7.1. SWITCHING ON AND OFF, RESETTING
1. Press any button to switch on the dial indicator.
2. If the dial indicator is being switched on for the first time, select the unit of measurement. See UNIT (selection of unit of

measurement) [} Page 17].
» The dial indicator will switch to stand-by mode after 20 minutes of inactivity if the [OFF] function has been set to
[Auto]. See OFF (automatic switch-off mode) [} Page 20].

Switches between the functions of the two function levels on the dial indicator. The first level con-
tains basic functions; the second contains advanced functions.
 Confirms a selection.
 Switches off the dial indicator.
 Moves to the next step within a function.
 Transfers measurement values.
 Define the display area for the scale.
 Reduce/increase the numerical value step by step.
 Activate the setting for the nominal value and tolerance limits.
