stretch
stitching.
Stretch
stitc hes
are
mainly
for use
on knit,
or
stretchable
fabrics, but
can
also
be used on ordinary
material s.
Use the
stretch stitch
needle
with blue
shank
when
sewing on
stretchable
fabric.

normal
needles for
non-stretchable
fabric
s.
Tripl

stitch.
Triple straight

tch
is
far
stronger
than
ordinary
straight stitch
because
it
locks
three times - forwards

backwards
and
forwards.
It is
particulary suitab
le
for
reinforcing
the seams of
sportswear
in
stretch
and non-stretch fabric

curved seams
which
take a
lot of stra

elastischem

verwenden.
Dreifach-stretch Geradestich.
Die Dreifachnaht
ergibt eine
besonders
feste Geradestichnaht.
Wahrend
ein
normaler
Geradestich
beim
Dehnen
reiSen
wUrde,
ist die
Dreifachnaht
elas
ti
sc
h.
Sie eignet
sich
deshalb vor allem
fUr
aile elastischen Stoffe, zur Verstarkung
von Nahten bei Sportsbekleidung
und

allgemeinen fUr aile
besonders
strapazierten
