To use kilograms as the unit, do the following: Select kg as the unit. The gravitational
acceleration at your site is 9.806 m/s
2
1/9.806 m/s
= 0.101979 s
The calculation is then performed: Output in kg = measurement value in
2
N x 0.101979 s
/m
You can also use any unit of your choice. Select "User defined Unit" to choose one.

Filter
The electronics provides low-pass filters. You can choose between Bessel and Butter
worth characteristics. The filter frequencies can be set by numerical inputs ranging from
0.001 Hz to 1000 Hz.
u
Open the "Filter" menu.
u
Select the "Low Pass Filter Mode" menu to activate/deactivate the filter and choose
the filter characteristic (Butterworth or Bessel).
u
Use the "Filter Low Pass Cut-Off Frequency" menu item to enter the cut-off frequency.
In the event of a signal jump, a Butterworth filter will overshoot, meaning higher values
than were actually measured will be outputted for a short time, while the response time is
very short. Bessel filters do not overshoot in the event of a signal jump, but do have a
significantly longer settling time.
