Turn the device on by plugging it in to the
power outlet source

Make sure the lights on the FlinQ
Luminus Tree fl ashes rapidly and click on
"confi rm"
If not fl ashing rapidly: Power ON and OFF the device 5x in a row by removing and
plugging in the adapter into the power outlet socket.
Open the FlinQ app

Fill in your network details (if requested)
(WiFi 2.4 GHZ network and WiFi
password) and click next
Note: Smart devices can only connect to a 2.4GHz network. Some routers have the
option to broadcast both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Some routers do this under the same
network name, other routers broadcast 2 separate networks. Check with your
provider if you need help with this.
