BRAKES
NOTE: HAVE A SPECIALIST ADJUST THE BRAKES, AS IMPROPER INSTALLATION OF THE
BRAKES CAN BE LIFE-THREATENING.
INCREASE / DECREASE IN BRAKING FORCE
1. loosen the allen head screw (Figure 1, item 1).
2. Tighten or loosen the Bowden cable by pulling or pushing it out
(Figure 5, item 2).
3. ghten the allen head screw.
4 Minor adjustment:
Loosen the counter-nut (Figure 6, item 1) so that the adjustment
screw (Figure 6, item 2) can be turned.
Turn the adjustment screw clockwise: decrease the braking force.
Turn the adjustment screw counterclockwise: increase the braking
force.
Finally, re- ghten the counter-nut.
Repeat the steps at the second brake.
Adjust the brakes so that they do not cause resistance when moving,
but allow easy movement. Locked brakes prevent the rollator from
moving.
USE OF AT51111 ROLLATOR
OPENING AND FOLDING THE ROLLATOR
To save space during storage, the rollator can be folded.
To use it again, the rollator
must be opened by pressing
on the outer edges of the seat
(Figure 7). There is a locking
mechanism at the bottom of
the rollator to prevent it from
folding unintentionally. An
audible click when unfolding
the rollator indicates that
the locking mechanism is
working correctly. To fold the
rollator, pull up the handle in
the seat (Fig. 8).
