8.1 MEASUREMENT CHARACTERISTICS

The Risycor CX:

logs a yearly corrosion rate every 7 hours

measures and logs interval temperature every 7 hours

8.2 YEARLY CORROSION RATE (µm/yr)
Every 7 hours a yearly corrosion rate is calculated and logged. This
calculation is based on an average of measurements every 20 minutes
over the past 7 days. Four days are sufficient to calculate an indicative
value for the yearly corrosion rate, seven to generate an alarm if
needed.

8.3 INTERVAL TEMPERATURE

Every time a corrosion rate is logged, the temperature on the probe is
also logged. This measurement is done every 7 hours and is therefore
not a continuous monitoring or display of the actual temperature.
