Warranty conditions
Conditions for a 24-month warranty
Restrictions in services provided under the terms of the warranty
•
Warranty claims are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
•
Only the original certifi cate of warranty will be recognised.
•
The warranty is not transferable.
•
The appliance is intended for private use only.
•
The warranty reduces to 12 months if the appliance is used commercially or for hire.
•
Correct handling of the appliance and observance of all information in the instructions for use is a
prerequisite.
•
Claims for spare parts or other claims for compensation not covered under the terms of the
warranty are excluded.
•
Warranty claims for possible technical defects must be submitted immediately, and before the
warranty period expires at the latest.
•
Appliances that are sent in without a defect/warranty/repair order will be returned for a fee.
•
Appliances that are sent postage-free will not be accepted. These will be returned to the sender.
•
Shipping expenses will be charged to the sender in every case.
Warranty and liability claims will not be recognised in the following cases
•
Missing certifi cate of warranty.
•
Transit damage (postal route / notify relevant post offi ce immediately).
•
Improper use / use for purposes other than intended.
•
Negligent operation.
•
Normal wear and tear.
•
External infl uences / damage from fall / overvoltage of more than 260 VAC / undervoltage of less
than 200 VAC,
•
Energy supply by non-compatible appliances such as inverter / converter / electricity generators.
•
Incorrect power terminal / extra-low voltage / high-voltage current / direct current.
•
Repairs not carried out by the sole agency.
•
Unauthorised changes to design.
•
Interventions in the appliance by opening it.
•
When repairs of any kind are carried out, the entire warranty period is cancelled and the right to
make claims under the warranty is cancelled immediately.
•
Third-party damage.
Important: In every case it is the duty of the user of the appliance to monitor the function of the
appliance. This particularly applies in frost protection mode. If the function of the appliance fails, any
liability claims for consequential damage to property will not be recognised.
