Instructions on electrical safety
Use of mains current
Only operate the appliance using the current type and rating stated on the appliance.
If you use an extension cable with the appliance, make sure that the total amperage corresponds to the
power rating of the appliance.
If you keep the extension cable rolled up on a cable reel, make sure the cable reel is fully unrolled.
Otherwise the cable reel will overheat and the appliance will not have the required voltage as stated on
the appliance and may be damaged.
Do not overload the mains socket outlet, the multiple plug, or socket by connecting too many appliances.
Make sure that the power rating set at the appliance does not exceed the protection value of the fuse.
Otherwise the fuse could blow as a result of overloading.
The power plug is earthed. You should therefore make sure that the mains socket outlet is correctly
earthed. Before you connect the power plug, do not insert the plug into an unearthed socket.
If the power supply cord of this appliance is damaged, you must replace it with a special power supply
cord which you can obtain from the manufacturer or customer service.
Consult an electrician if you have any questions.
Warning!
The earthing pin or earthing spring is a safety feature. If you plug the appliance into a
Mains socket that is not properly earthed, this may lead to electric shock and/or injury.
