General safety instructions
In order to operate the appliance safely please read all the information carefully, especially the following
safety instructions, before starting up.
Do not cover
Warning: to prevent the appliance from overheating, do not cover it.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or persons without the necessary experience and/or knowledge, unless they are
supervised by a person who is responsible for their safety or they have been instructed by this person on
how to use the appliance.
Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
The heating appliance must not be operated directly below a wall socket.
Do not use this heating appliance next to a bathtub, shower or swimming pool.
Do not put this appliance on an unstable trolley, support or table. Do not put the appliance on a vibrating
surface. It could fall off and be seriously damaged.
Do not put objects on the power cord as this could damage it.
Route the power cord so it cannot pose a tripping hazard.
Always pull out the power plug out by holding the plug and not the cord. Otherwise this could lead to
damage.
Pull out the power plug if a storm occurs or if you do not intend to use it for a longer period.
Make sure that water does not enter the appliance.
The ventilation slots and openings in the appliance guarantee that the appliance operates reliably and
prevent it from overheating. These openings must never be blocked or covered.
Do not cover the openings by putting the appliance on a bed, sofa or similar surface.
Never insert objects of any kind into the slots in the appliance as you may come into contact with or
short-circuit dangerous live components which could cause an electric shock or defect.
Avoid spilling liquids of any kind on the appliance.
