• The outputs of the series transformer are not electrically isolated
from the mains supply (auto-transformer). Fatal risk can arise if
the output voltage is contacted.
• Do not connect direct current (DC). The series transformer func-
tions only on alternating current (AC).
• If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer
possible, take the device out of operation immediately and secure
it against inadvertent operation. It can be assumed that risk-free
operation is no longer possible if
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- has been stored for longer periods under unfavourable conditions or
- has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
You should also observe the additional safety instructions in each
section of these operating instructions as well as in the operating
instructions of the connected devices.
