2.0 Installation

Day Bin Load Cells Wiring

Connect the wires of each of the day-bin load-cells to the A/D Silo Box card. These wires
should be connected to the lower connector (SILO1 connector). Each load-cell is
connected to 4 contacts of this connector: the red wire to an IN+ contact, the green wire
to an OUT+ contact, the white wire to an OUT- contact and the black wire to an IN-
contact. The wiring schematic below shows how to connect the first load cell to the
SILO1 connector. All other day-bin load-cells should be connected similarly to the other
contacts in this connector.

Silo Load Cell Wiring

Connect the wires of each of the silo load-cells to the A/D Silo Box card. These wires
should be connected to the upper connector (SILO2 connector). Each load-cell is
connected to 4 contacts of this connector: the red wire to an IN+ contact, the green wire
to an OUT+ contact, the white wire to an OUT- contact and the black wire to an IN-
contact. The wiring schematic below shows how to connect the first load cell to the
SILO2 connector. All other silo load-cells should be connected similarly to the other
contacts in this connector.
