Adjusting footplates
To adjust the height of the footplate, remove the height adjustment bolt and move the footplate to the desired
height and then fasten the bolt back in, repeat the adjustment for the other footplate.
Attaching/detaching anti-tip
To attach the anti-tip, insert the anti-tip tube with the wheel facing downwards into the rear frame, making sure the
button pops out. To detach the anti-tip simply press the button on the anti-tip and pull it out.

5. Care and maintenance
Regular dirt can be removed with standard cleaning products and a sponge or soft rag. Check the specific product
information and use only commercial cleaning products which are suitable for cleaning. For disinfection, use only
disinfectants certified for use with medical devices available locally.
Wheels can be cleaned with hot water with a mild cleaning agent. After cleaning the wheel bearings should be
lubricated with oil periodically or when the wheels start squeaking.
Despite the solid construction and the use of resistant materials the product is subject to wear. It is therefore
recommended to check the product at regular intervals by a professional service. We recommend the following:
✔ Cleaning and disinfection of the product
✔ Checking the frame for bends, damage, wear or corrosion
✔ Checking wear parts and replacing them if necessary
✔ General re-tightening of the components

Tip-pedal
The tip-pedal on wheelchairs makes it easier for the attendant to avoid obstacles by
tilting the wheelchair backwards (left image). The tip-pedal is built into the frame.
NOTE: DO NOT tilt the wheelchair with the handles, but use the tip-pedal!
