Function description
Usage of attendant brakes
To slow down the wheelchair, pull both brake handles up evenly to control the braking force. For full braking, pull the
handles all the way up. To disengage the brakes, simply release the brake handles. You can use the brakes to
maneuver the wheelchair by activating the brake on the side you want to turn to.
The attendant brake handles also have a parking brake function. To engage the parking brake function, pull the
brake handles all the way up and lock the small red lever under the handle by pushing it down. To release the
parking brake pull the small red lever back up.
Usage of parking brakes (22" wheel version only)
To engage the parking brakes, push the parking brake levers forwards, on both sides of the wheelchair. To release
the brakes, pull the levers backwards on both sides.
WARNING! The parking brakes are not designed as driving brakes and only serve to lock the wheelchair in place
(parking). They may not be used for braking while driving!
Usage of quick release axles (22" wheel version only)
To detach a wheel using a quick release axle, press and hold the button in the middle of the wheel, and pull it out of
the frame. To attach it back to the frame, press and hold the button. Fit the axle into it's slot and fully push the wheel
into the frame. Release the button.
Attaching/detaching footrests
To attach a footrest, fit the top and bottom attachment points of the footrest to the ones on the frame from the side
of it, and turn the footrest inwards until it locks in place. To detach a footrest, push the footrest detaching lever
towards the wheelchair and turn it to either the outside or inside of the wheelchair and pull it up.
The footrests can be folded inwards for transport.
