Connection to the power supply mains
— Connect the player to a mains voltage of 220 V/50-60
Hz as
specified on the type plate.
— The player will remain live even after it has been switched off. For
complete isolation from the electric power mains, disconnect the
mains plug from the wall outlet.
Connection to the amplifier
— Using the RCA cable supplied, connect the Line out R jack to the
"right" jack at the amplifier CD input and the Line out L jack to the
"left" jack at the amplifier CD input.
— If the amplifier is not equipped with a CD input, another highlevel
input (such as tape, tuner, or aux) can be employed forthis purpose.
Switching the player On and Off
— Switch the player on by pressing the key Power 1
— The display will flash if no disc has been inserted. After several
seconds, the display will indicate Disc.
Loading the disc
— Press key 4 Open/Close 3.
— Disc tray will move out.
— Remove compact disc from its jacket without touching the surface
and insert it into the tray with the lable facing upwards.
— Press key 4 Open/Close 3 again.
— Disc tray will be retracted.

- The display will flash.
— After several seconds, the number of the
disc tracks will appear on
the left of the display and their overall playing time on the right.

— The display will then indicate the stop mode.

— The disc tray will also be retracted after pressing key > Play 7 or
one of the keys 26 on the remote control. Disc playback will now
begin.
— Ifthe disc tray is retracted after a disc has been loaded incorrectly or
without having loaded a disc, the display will indicate.
