Care & cleaning
WARNING: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down (ca. 1 hour)
completely before cleaning.
Splashes or droplets that occur during drying and come into contact with the coating
are oxidized during operation. If necessary, wipe the walls with a damp sponge, a
cloth and a mild detergent. Clean the heating elements with a cleaning brush to
remove food residues.
DO NOT USE STEEL WOOL SCOURING PADS OR ABRASIVE CLEANERS AND DO NOT
SCRAPE THE WALLS WITH A METAL TOOL OR METAL PART AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE
DURABLE, CLEAN COATING.
All accessories should be washed in hot soapy water. The door can be wiped with a
damp sponge and wiped dry with a paper or cloth towel. Clean the outside with a
damp sponge.
DO NOT USE ANY SCRUBBING AGENTS AS THESE CAN DAMAGE THE EXTERIOR
SURFACE.
DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR STEEL WOOL ON THE ACCESSORIES OR THE
INSIDE OF THE DEHYDRATOR AS THIS MAY CAUSE DAMAGE.
ALLOW ALL PARTS AND SURFACES TO DRY THOROUGHLY BEFORE RECONNECTING
AND USING THE DEHYDRATOR.
Storing the device
1 Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down.
2. Make sure that all parts are clean and dry.
