Set a low temperature for thin/small pieces of food or a small amount of food. Set a
high temperature to dry thick/large pieces of food and large quantities. The
thermostat can also be used to lower the temperature as the food nears the end of
its drying cycle. This makes it easier to control the final moisture content of the food.
1. You can change or check the drying times during the drying process. First press the
"TEMP/TIME" button and then the "+" or "-" button. Press the "TEMP/TIME" button
to check the set time.
2. Press the "START/STOP" button during the drying process to stop all functions.
3. In standby mode, you can press the "START/STOP" button directly to switch to
standard mode (TIME: 10 hours TEMP: 70℃). If required, you can also change the
drying time and temperature.
4. When the set time counts down to "00:00", the heating element stops working
first. The fan continues to run for 10 seconds and the beep sounds 20 times (1 time
per second). Then switch the appliance off or set the on/off switch to "0" (display is
dark) and unplug the mains plug.
Notes on the drying process
The drying time depends on the following factors:
· Thickness of the pieces or slices
· Number of trays with the food to be dried
· Volume of food to be dried
· Humidity or dampness in the area around the dehydrator
· Your drying preferences for each type of food
