7. To disconnect the appliance from the power supply, switch off all functions and
then pull the plug out of the socket. Always hold the plug firmly and never pull on the
cable.
8. Check the appliance and the mains cable regularly for damage. Do not operate the
appliance with a damaged cable or plug. If the mains cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its customer service or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid danger.
9. The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury.
10. Do not store any materials other than the accessories recommended by the
manufacturer in this dehydrator, even when it is not in use.
11. Extreme care must be taken when using cooking or baking containers that are not
made of metal or heat-resistant glass.
12. Do not let the mains cable hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch hot
surfaces.
13. Do not place the appliance against a wall or against other appliances. Leave at
least 10 cm free space at the back and sides and 10 cm free space above the
appliance.
14. Ensure that the appliance is placed on a horizontal, level and stable surface.
15. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric stove or near a heated oven.
16. Do not cover the air inlet and the outer air openings while the appliance is in
operation. This can lead to the appliance overheating.
17. Do not store any objects on the appliance during operation.
18. Do not place any of the following materials into the dehydrator: cardboard,
plastic, paper or similar highly flammable materials.
19. Make sure that nothing touches the top or bottom elements of the dehydrator.
20. Keep the device away from places with high temperatures, radiation and
moisture.
21. Do not connect the appliance or operate the control panel with wet hands.
22. Extreme care must be taken when moving a drip tray containing hot oil or other
hot liquids.
