Before using your new Food-Dehydrator
▲ Before using your digital dehydrator for the first time, make sure of the following:
1. Read all instructions in this manual.
2. Remove all packaging from the product. Place the packaging in the box and store
or dispose of it responsibly.
3. Wash all accessories in hot soapy water before first use. Alternatively, use a slightly
damp cloth. Use standard household cleaning agents as required. Do not immerse
any part of the appliance in water or other liquids!
4. Dry all accessories thoroughly and reassemble them in the appliance. Plug the
device into a power socket and you are ready to use your new digital dehydrator.
5. When using your dehydrator for the first time, we recommend that you run it at
the highest temperature (70 °C) for around 30 minutes to remove any packaging
residue that may remain after shipping.
6. Minimal odor and smoke may be emitted during initial start-up (approx. 15
minutes). This is normal and harmless. This is due to the burning of the protective
substance applied to the heating elements at the factory.
7. Please ensure sufficient ventilation.
Touch panel
1. Press START/STOP to start or stop the dehydrator.
2. Press TEMP/TIME once and use the + and - buttons to change the drying time.
3. Press TEMP/TIME a second time and use the + and - buttons to change the
temperature.
