IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using this Food-Dehydrator and electrical appliances in general, basic safety
precautions should always be taken, including the following:
1. Read all safety instructions carefully.
2. To protect against electric shocks, never immerse the cable, plug or base or the
entire appliance in water or other liquids. Never immerse the housing, which contains
electrical components and the heating elements, in water and never rinse it under
running water.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces.
Warning: This electrical appliance contains a heating function. Surfaces, including
surfaces other than the functional surfaces, can develop high temperatures. As
temperatures are perceived differently by different people, this appliance should be
used with caution. The appliance may only be touched by the handles and gripping
surfaces provided for this purpose and heat protection such as gloves or similar must
be used. The door or outer surface may become hot during operation. Surfaces other
than the intended grip surfaces must be given sufficient time to cool down before
they can be touched.
4. Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
5. Check whether the voltage specified on the device corresponds to the local mains
voltage.
6. Always disconnect the plug from the socket when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow the appliance to cool down or remove parts before unplugging or cleaning.
