1.2 What to do in case of an accident
1. Immediately notify the police or relevant authority.
2. Inform the insurance company as well as the employer and/or owner of the system.
3. Inform your local Hyva subsidiary.
4. Do not move any part of the vehicle, loader, load or container prior to the inspection coming to an end.
a. When not moving causes risk of injury, death or further damages to occur, moving is not prohibited.
Please note:
Photograph the site of the accident extensively.
Be sure to include overview photos as well.
Please note:
Accidents need to be reported using an accident report form.
1.3 Intended use
The hookloader is intended to be used for:
• Loading a container onto a truck,
• Depositing a container onto a trailer, platform or the ground,
• Tipping a container.
The hookloader is not intended to be used for:
• Transporting/repositioning containers or other objects which are not fully in transport position on the truck.
Highly dangerous:
Never use the hookloader in a way other than its intended usage.
