(Only M odel C10FCH2)
If a laser m arker is used, align the laser line w ith the
left side of the saw blade, and then align the ink line
w ith the laser line.
(2) Once the saw blade reaches m axim um speed, slow ly
push dow n the handle w hile pushing the lock lever
(C) and bring the saw blade in the vicinity of the
m aterial to be cut.
(3) Once the saw blade contacts the w orkpiece, push the
handle dow n gradually to cut into the w orkpiece.
(4) After cutting the w orkpiece to the desired depth, turn
the pow er tool OFF and let the saw blade stop

Increased pressure on the handle w ill not increase the
cutting speed. On the contrary, too m uch pressure
m ay result in overload of the m otor and/or decreased
cutting efficiency.
Confirm that the trigger sw itch is turned OFF and the
pow er plug has been rem oved from the receptacle
w henever the tool is not in use.
Alw ays turn the pow er off and let the saw blade stop

w orkpiece. If the handle is raised w hile the saw blade
is still rotating, the cut-off piece m ay becom e jam m ed
against the saw blade causing fragm ents to scatter
about dangerously.
Every tim e one cutting of deep-cutting operation is
finished, turn the sw itch off, and check that the saw
blade has stopped. Then raise the handle, and return
it to the full retract position.
Be absolutely sure to rem ove the cut m aterial from
the top of the turntable, and then proceed to the next
step.
10. M iter cutting procedures
(1) Loosen the side handle and push the lever for angle
stoppers. Then, adjust the turntable until the indicator
aligns w ith desired setting on the m iter scale (Fig. 19).
(2) Re-tighten the side handle to secure the turntable in
the desired position.
NOTE
Positive stops are provided at the right and left of the
0° center setting, at 15° , 22.5° , 31.6° and 45° settings.
Check that the m iter scale and the tip of the indicator
are properly aligned.
Operation of the saw with the miter scale and indicator
out of alignm ent, or w ith the side handle not properly
tightened, w ill result in poor cutting precision.
CAUTION
Never rem ove the side handle; use of the tool w ithout
it w ould be hazardous.
To prevent an accident or personal injury always firmly
tighten the m iter handle.
11. Bevel cutting procedures (Fig. 20 and Fig. 21)
(1) Loosen the clam p lever and bevel the saw blade to
the left.
(2) Adjust the bevel angle to the desired setting w hile
w atching the bevel angle scale and indicator, then
secure the clam p lever.
WARNING
When the w orkpiece is secured on the left or right
side of the blade, the short cut-off portion w ill com e
to rest on the right or left side of the saw blade. Alw ays

If the handle is raised w hile the saw blade is still
rotating, the cut-off piece m ay becom e jam m ed

about dangerously.
When stopping the bevel cutting operation halfw ay,
start cutting after pulling back the m otor head to the
initial position.
Starting from halfw ay, w ithout pulling back, causes
the safety cover to be caught in the cutting groove of
the w orkpiece and to contact the saw blade.
12. Compound cutting procedures
Com pound cutting can be perform ed by follow ing the

CAUTION
Alw ays secure the w orkpiece w ith the right hand side
for com pound cutting. Never rotate the table to the
right for com pound cutting, because the saw blade
m ight then contact the clam p or vise that secures the
w orkpiece, and cause personal injury or dam age.
13. Cutting long materials
When cutting long m aterials, use an auxiliary platform
w hich is the sam e height as the holder (optional
accesso r y ) an d b ase o f t h e sp eci al au x i l i ar y
equipm ent.
Capacity: w ooden m aterial (W × H × L)
120 m m × 40 m m × 1000 m m
14. Installing the holders (Optional accessory)
The holders help keep longer w orkpieces stable and
in place during the cutting operation.
(1) As indicated in Fig. 22, use a steel square for aligning
the upper edge of the holders w ith the base surface.
Loosen the 6 m m w ing nut. Turn a height adjustm ent
bolt 6 m m , and adjust the height of the holder.
(2) After adjustm ent, firm ly tighten the w ing nut and
fasten the holder w ith the 6 m m knob bolt (optional
accessory). If the length of Height Adjustm ent Bolt 6
m m is insufficient, spread a thin plate beneath. M ake
sure the end of Height Adjustm ent Bolt 6 m m does
not protrude from the holder.
15. Stopper for precision cutting (Stopper and holder are
optional accessory)
The stopper facilitates continuous precision cutting
in lengths of 280 m m to 450 m m .
To install the stopper, attach it to the holder w ith the 6
m m w ing bolt as show n in Fig. 23.
16. Confirmation for use Crow n molding vise, Crow n
molding Stopper (L) and (R) (Optional accessory)
(1) Cr o w n m o l d i n g St o p p er (L) an d (R) (o p t i o n al
accessories) allow easier cuts of crow n m olding
w ithout tilting the saw blade. lnstall them in the base
both-sides side to be show n in Fig. 24. After inserting
tighten the 6 m m knob bolts to secure the Crow n
m olding Stoppers.
(2) The crow n m olding vise (B) (Optional accessory) can
be m ounted on either the left fence (Fence (B)) or the
right fence (Fence (A)). lt can unite w ith the slope of
the crow n m olding and vice can be pressed dow n.
Then turn the upper knob, as necessary, to securely
attach the crow n m olding in position. To raise or low er
