Hot water tank sensor.
When installing a hot water tank
sensor you also need to install a hot
water tank pump and the wiring
details for the installation can be
seen below.
Connecting the sensor and
pump
Fit the tank sensor into the pocket
provided in the tank.
Remove the resistor from terminal
block X6 terminals 12 and 13 on the
Eurocondense boiler and connect
the tank sensor leads into these
terminals (fig. 1).
Fit a pump into the flow to the tank
and wire the pump to terminal block
X1 and the connections marked M3
which are for the tank pump.
Note: If the pump loading is greater
than 1A then it will need to be wired
via a contactor.
Note: If sequence control is fitted
then wire the sensor to terminal
block X8 terminals B3 (fig. 2)
