Battery instructions

Please note the following general instructions for handling
batteries:

Keep batteries away from children. Seek medical attention
immediately if a battery is swallowed.

CAUTION! Never try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Danger of explosion!

ATTENTION!There is a risk of explosion if batteries are
incorrectly replaced. Always replace the batteries with an
equivalent type.

Before inserting the batteries, check that the contacts in the
device and on the batteries are clean and, if necessary, clean
them.

Please note the polarity (+/–) when inserting the batteries.

Store batteries in a cool, dry place. Direct intense heat can
damage the batteries. Therefore do not expose the device to
any sources of direct heat.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes. If these
areas come into contact with battery acid, rinse them
immediately with plenty of clean water and contact a doctor
immediately.

Do not throw batteries into a fire, do not short-circuit them and
do not dismantle them.

Never expose the batteries to excessive heat such as sunshine,
fire or similar.

Always replace batteries in a dry environment!

Remove a leaking battery from the device immediately. Clean
the contacts before inserting a new battery. There is a risk of
skin irritations from battery acid!

Remove flat batteries from the camera.
