Testing Injector Function
Before testing injectors, ensure that the original pressure sensor is installed correctly according to vehicle
manufacturer's instructions.
For testing injectors, select suitable hose (M12x1.5 or M14x1.5) and connect manometer with rail. Select
injector to be tested and connect with manometer. Pay attention to torque information supplied by vehicle
manufacturer. For all other injectors, use screw caps supplied with this set to close the injector rail connection.
Pay attention to torque information supplied by vehicle manufacturer.
Activate the starter and at the same time read measurement value from manometer.
Repeat test for all injectors.
If any injector is malfunctioning, dripping or leaking, the corresponding test results will differs from the other
injector test results and vehicle manufacturer information.
If possible, always compare measured results with digital measurements from the on board diagnostics (OBD)
to identify faulty sensors etc.
Never disconnect high pressure fuel lines under pressure!
Observe the saftey instructions from this manual and the vehicle manufacturer!
