IV. Working Area Preparation
- Always pay attention to extreme cleanness when working on common-rail high pressure pump systems.
Particles and dirt can damage the vehicle
- The working area must be well vented and free of any ignition source.
- Use precautions to prevent unauthorised people entering the working area.
- Prevent spilling or spraying diesel from entering the environment. Collect diesel in appropriate containers.
- Before using this device, always check if instruments and fittings of the tester are in flawless condition.
- Cracked hoses and damaged parts must be replaced.
- Become acquainted with how the depressurize high pressure lines according to the vehicle manufacturer

Operation and Functions

!!! Never disconnect high pressure fuel lines under pressure !!!
When using this device always observe the saftey instructions from this manual and the vehicle
manufacturer!
Protect disassembled components from dirt and store in clean environment.
Contaminated components can damage the common-rail system
Never bend connection hoses and keep away from sharp edges. Always replace bent or
damaged hoses immediately
Ensure that connection hoses and manometer are not damaged by rotating or hot engine parts
Never disconnect high pressure fuel lines under pressure!
Observe the saftey instructions from this manual and the vehicle manufacturer!
