II. Safety
General Aspects:
This device was designed and manufactured according to the technical norms and standards valid at the time
and is considered operationally reliable. To eliminate any danger during operation and ensure expert working,
qualified personnel exclusively is allowed to operate this device and must read and understand this operating
instruction prior to operating this device.
Responsibility of the Operator / Owner:
- Only entrust qualified personnel with the operation of the device.
- The operator and personnel must read and understand this operating instruction prior to operating this device.
- Always store this operating instruction together with the device.
- Only operate device in technically flawless and operationally reliable condition, respectively provide to
personnel in such condition.
- Provide safety arrangements and regularly check and ensure correct functioning.
- Prevailing regulations regarding safety, accident prevention and environmental protection must be observed
and complied with.
- Always observe and follow safety regulations and repair instructions of the vehicle manufacturer
Appropriate Use:
Operational reliability of the device can only be ensured, if the device is used as intended and in compliance
with the information given in this operating instruction. All advice for operational safety in this instructions as
well as prevailing regulations for safety, accident prevention and environmental protection must be observed
and complied with. Regularly maintain and service the device correctly.
- This common rail high pressure tester must only be applied for the operations mentioned in this instruction.
It can be used for common rail diesel systems with a maximum pressure of 2000 bar.
Dangers:
- Prior to every operation the machine must be checked for complete functional capability.
- If complete functional capability cannot be guaranteed after checking or if damage has been identified, the
machine must not be operated. There is high risk for strong health, body and material damage.
- Never operate machine if components, protection features or safety arrangements are missing.
- Never operate machine if components are bent.
- Only carry out maintenance and repair work through qualified personnel. Enduring operational reliability can
only be achieved if original spare parts are used.
Never disconnect high pressure fuel lines under pressure!
Observe the saftey instructions from this manual and the vehicle manufacturer!
