8.4 Changing the paper parameters if required
The values for pad length, number of pads and crumpling factor are preset by the
manufacturer and can be selected as required by the operating personnel.
8.4.1 Changing the pad length

The pad length can also be changed by following the steps below:

When the button (1) flashes green and
blue, this indicates the paper was inserted
under the rollers and positioned. A paper
pad can now be requested by pressing the
button (1) again.
The pad length [cm] is displayed and
selected in the first column (1).
The required pad length can be set by
scrolling up or down.
The selected pad length is displayed in blue.
Press the green button (2) to start the
process.
The activated value (displayed in blue) (1)
must be pressed and held until the input
menu appears.
Use the keypad (1) to enter different pad

lengths in the input menu. Press the green
acknowledgement button (2) to apply the
next higher and lower value.
