2.6 Personal protective equipment
The following protective equipment must be worn to ensure safe handling of the
PAPERplus®Classic-CX.

Tight-fitting protective clothing must be worn to minimise the risk of being drawn into or
caught in the machine. Long hair must also be worn under a cap/head covering. Protective
goggles must also be worn if the paper outlet is at head height.
A protective face covering must also be worn when performing cleaning tasks to prevent the
inhalation of fine paper particles and cleaning agents.
Wear protective gloves
Explanation
Safety shoes are used to protect the toes from falling
parts.
Work gloves protect against cut injuries resulting from
sharp objects. In addition, they protect the hands
from contact heat when touching high-temperature
components.
Ear protection protects hearing when exposed to
noise emissions.
