Damaged RoCos

RoCos to be repaired are labelled with a defect notice, and should be taken to the area set aside
for repairs.
This rule only applies to RoCos with defective functional features, or which have been damaged
as the result of an accident.
The container must be repaired, for example, in the event of the following defects or damage:
• Damaged wheel assembly; defective swivel castor lock
• Base lock does not work
• Damaged brake mechanism or if plastic caps are missing from the base feet
• Loss or significant wear to the stops for limiting the swivel range of the hand levers
• Damaged drawbar or coupling
• Missing lashing straps
• Damaged pull handle
• More difficult to collapse
• Sheared or deformed parts which significantly impair the function, and therefore pose a risk
to employees or operating procedures.
Since repairs should be limited to what is absolutely necessary, a repair is not immediately
required in the event of the following, for example:
• Coupling, if just its guide plates are bent.
• Lost plastic stops for the pull handle.
