Using the button "Sort A...Z" you can sort the main list in alphabetical order. The button "Delete all"
deletes all the channels of a favourite list.
Save the favourite list by the button "Save".
MULTICAST
In this menu you can configure the Multibox for multicast streaming based on a given multicast playlist. Please note
that you may need to restart the device after changing the settings in this menu.
RTSP multicast settings:
Play multicast playlist on startup
If enabled, the multicast streaming according to the local multicast playlist will start automatically after the Multibox
has booted. This option needs to be enabled if the multicast playlist in the SAT>IP Server shall be used.
Use IGMP play method
If this option is enabled, a multicast channel will start to stream only when a client device was requesting it over
an IGMP request. If this option is disabled, all multicast channels will start to stream even if no client device is
connected. This will increase the traffic on the network and may affect interoperability. It is highly recommended to
enable IGMP snooping on the switch/router to ensure that the multicast clients only receive the requested streams
and to reduce the overall network traffic.
Local multicast configuration update:
You can setup a multicast using a configuration file in M3U format or you can generate such a configuration file
using the Multicast Playlist Editor (see below).
Click "Browse" to select your multicast configuration playlist file from a local folder.
Click on the "Load" button to load the file to the device
You can access the multicast playlist at http://<device name>:8080/multicast.m3u or -http://<IP-address-of-the-
device>:8080/multicast.m3u.
Please note that streaming will start either when you press the 'Apply' button at the bottom of the page or after
restarting the device (if the play on startup option is enabled).
A multicast playlist file (M3U) shall look as follows:
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:TIME,NAME
#MCASTADDR: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:XXXXX
src=[DiSEqC Command]&fe=[Tuner]&freq=[Satellite Frequency]&sr=[Symbol Rate]&pol=[Polarisation]&msys=[De
modulation Standard]&pids=[PAT,V-PID,A-PID,PMT]
In this example 3 Multicast streams are started from 2 different transponders:
#EXTM3U
#MCASTADDR: 239.1.0.11:55111
freq=11837&sr=27500&pol=h&msys=dvbs&pids=0,100,101,102,103,106
#MCASTADDR: 239.1.0.12:55121
freq=11954&sr=27500&pol=h&msys=dvbs&pids=0,100,110,120,121,125,130
#MCASTADDR: 239.1.0.13:55211
freq=11954&sr=27500&pol=h&msys=dvbs&pids=0,200,210,220,221,225
Include to Multicast:
Select the additional information you want to include as part of the multicast stream.
Event Information Table (EIT) provides program information for the electronic program guide (EPG)
Time and Date Table (TDT) and Time Offset Table (TOT) provides time and date information
Multicast Playlist Editor:
Here you can select the programs of the multicast playlist, press the "Add" button or "Remove" to add or remove
from the playlist. By default, the multicast streaming address, the tuner to use, and the protocol are assigned by
the Multibox automatically however they might be specified manually by the user. If you want to assign the tuner
